In last week’s FLiP weekly newsletter, I discussed Intersectionality and Money: Why Financial Planning Is More Personal Than Finance, referencing a thought-provoking exercise that my wife, Mika, and I did that was designed to unearth our individual money history and beliefs and create the context for us to have a productive conversation around money. Well, in this podcast, we decided to just have that discussion live, for the first time—and no, we didn’t share answers before hitting the record button.
We did this because we know how important it is for couples to have functional discussions around money, and we hope you might find a little extra encouragement or inspiration from our willingness to dive right in. In fact, if you decide to have a money conversation with your spouse as a result, I’d love to hear from you!
